Starts an echo or sink channel.

Parameters:

bp - A pointer to the connection structure.
pr - A pointer to the profile-registration returned by either null_echo_Init or null_sink_Init.
serverName - The value to use for the serverName attribute of the <start> element, or NULL.

Returns:

An opaque pointer for use with null_trip and null_close.
